Steveston Cannery Cafe

5/5

I went on a nice 25 minute bike ride to Steveston today. It was a nice 5.5 km. Once I got to Steveston I started to get hungry, since I forgot to drink my shake before heading out. So I rode up Moncton Street and saw a cute shop that had 'Sandwiches' in the window and I hadn't had an egg salad sammich in weeks. Also was jonesin for a nice cuppa joe.

So in I strolled to this nice sandwich and soup shop place. It's so cute and flowery and quaint from the outside I had to try it!

And boy, for $4.95 my egg salad sammy was AWESOME! Coffee was $1, one free refill with sandwich purchase.

Whole wheat bread
Sprouts
Cukes
Tommytoes
Lettuce
Onions
Green Peppers
Pepper

Total was $6.41.

I sat there for almost an hour inside where it was cozy with the sun shining through the big window reading the paper and sipping my coffee. And the best part? They put green onions in their egg salad!

Best $6.41 I ever spent. I do want to try other cafes in Steveston I haven't gone to yet, but this place earns top marks.
